Kangaroo
Help save the lives of innocent animals today
Kangaroos are the largest marsupial surviving on earth today. They hop on their hind legs whilst using their large, muscular tail for balance. Kangaroos are one of the only animals that are not able to move backwards easily, and this is why they are used on the Australian national emblem. Kangaroos graze on plants such as grass, other green plants and young shoots and are well adapted for arid environments because they get most of the water they require from the food they eat. Kangaroos have good eyesight and excellent hearing.

Stonefish
The stonefish is one of Australia’s deadliest fish. They inhabit shallow waters along the coast. The stonefish is a brown colour and camouflages really well and looks like another ordinary rock; this is where they got their name from. It has thirteen sharp dorsal spines on its back, which each have extremely toxic venom. The venom of a stonefish can kill a human in two hours. The stonefish feeds on other small fish or shrimp. They live on the coastal regions of the indo-pacific.
